RideFinders makes ridesharing easier by helping you get to your home or vehicle if the unexpected happens while at work. It's called the Emergency Ride Home (ERH program). You're eligible for the ERH Program if you register with RideFinders and carpool, vanpool, bike, walk or ride the bus to work at least three days a week.

Once you register for the ERH program, you will receive an ERH booklet in the mail that explains the program and an ERH card. Keep them at work.
Call RideFinders during operating hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and we'll arrange for a ride to get you home or to your car.
You also have to use a rideshare mode to work on the day you request to use the program.
If you need an Emergency Ride Home after the RideFinders office has closed for the day, use your ERH card to call the service provider.
The following morning, you must call RideFinders to report your usage for the services to be covered.
Your first three rides each year are free. After your third use of the ERH program, there is a $5.00 co-pay - regardless of your home destination. RideFinders pays the remaining balance of your fare, up to the maximum annual allowance of $250.00 (not including your co-payment).
If your commute is within the Richmond area, RideFinders will arrange for a taxi to provide you with transportation. Call RideFinders (643-7433) and a taxi will pick you up at the specified time and location. If your commute takes you out of the Richmond area, RideFinders will contact a rental car company to provide you with a vehicle to get home. You will be solely responsible for the vehicle.
Now you can carpool, vanpool, ride the bus, bike, or walk to work with the peace of mind that you're always just a phone call away from home.
