Once again, RideFinders will partner with DRIVE SMART Virginia for their "See and Be Seen" campaign during Bicyclist and Pedestrian Awareness Month. Their "See and Be Seen" campaign is designed to remind everyone about their duty to watch out for one another on the road. This campaign emphasizes that every road user plays a role in ensuring safety. To drivers, DRIVE SMART Virginia emphasizes the importance of undivided attention on the road, free from distractions. For pedestrians and cyclists, they advocate the use of bright or reflective clothing, as well as bike lights or flashlights when appropriate.

Bicyclist and Pedestrian Awareness Month is a great opportunity to remind citizens that bicyclists, motorists, and pedestrians have reciprocal rights and responsibilities while traveling on the roadways of Virginia.
